FIFA has imposed a ban on FC Lokomotiv to register new players.
The International Football Federation (FIFA) has banned the Moscow club Lokomotiv from registering new players. This was reported on the organization's website on June 19.
It is specified that the ban will be in effect for three transfer periods — until the winter of 2027, writes Sport-Express.
In addition, the press service of the Russian club told TASS that FIFA's decision is completely unmotivated. They added that the club expects the restrictions to be lifted soon.
Earlier that day, Lokomotiv announced the transfer of midfielder Zelimkhan Bakayev. It is noted that the contract with the player is signed for two years. He will be performing at number seven.
