The program of Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to China has not yet been prepared, but dates and general parameters have already been determined. This was announced on June 19 by Presidential Aide Yuri Ushakov in an interview with Izvestia correspondent Viktor Sineok on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2025).
"The program is not being prepared yet, we still have a lot of time to prepare. The main thing now is that the dates have been determined, the general, main parameters of what will happen in China during these days have been determined. The SCO summit will be there, and there will be celebrations on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the victory over Japan and the end of World War II," he said.
In addition, according to Ushakov, the leaders of Russia and China exchanged views on the G7 summit that ended in Canada and on the trip of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky there.
Earlier this day, it became known that Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping had a telephone conversation with Chinese President Xi Jinping on the conflict in the Middle East. He specified that Putin and Xi Jinping also emphasized new important guidelines for strengthening the Russian-Chinese partnership.
