- Bakanov pointed to Russia's plans to sign an agreement on missile technology with Indonesia.

Russia is ready to sign an agreement on missile technology with Indonesia. Dmitry Bakanov, Director General of Roscosmos, told the Izvestia correspondent on June 19 on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2025).
"When we launched their first satellite in 2001, they are now considering options for interaction. We need to sign an agreement on the protection of missile technologies and then we will start discussing the technical details," he said.
Bakanov also added that discussions with Indonesian partners are already underway.
Earlier in the day, the Presidents of Russia and Indonesia, Vladimir Putin and Prabowo Subianto, adopted a declaration on strategic partnership between the two countries. The meeting of the leaders of the two countries was held at the Konstantinovsky Palace in St. Petersburg. During the meeting, the heads of state also signed an agreement on the creation of an investment platform worth €2 billion.
