VTB has signed cooperation agreements with Russian regions

VTB has signed cooperation agreements with seven Russian regions to address their socio-economic development challenges. This was announced by Denis Bortnikov, Deputy President and Chairman of the Management Board of the bank.
The documents were signed at SPIEF 2025 with the governments of the Altai Territory, Arkhangelsk Region, Zabaikalsky Territory, Omsk Region, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug, Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics.
"These agreements open up new opportunities for us to work together. VTB is focused on supporting regional projects and the introduction of modern banking technologies, working with businesses at every stage of development — from individual entrepreneurs and the self—employed to backbone companies," said Bortnikov.
He added that the bank pays special attention to the new regions of Russia, striving "to be a reliable financial partner for them, to create comfortable living and working conditions."
The main areas of cooperation will be the development of banking technologies in the regions, the implementation of investment programs, support for the innovative development of the industrial complex and priority regional projects. In addition, the work will be aimed at developing the lending system, including through the use of state support mechanisms.
