A 14-year-old and a 15-year-old teenager, as well as a 34-year-old woman, drowned in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia reported this in its Telegram channel on Thursday, June 19.

One of the tragedies occurred in the city of Kansk on the Tarayka River, where two friends came to swim. One of them dived into the water, although he could not swim. The 14-year-old boy did not come to the surface.

A similar case occurred in Krasnoyarsk on Lake Panikovka. A 15-year-old boy who cannot swim also dived into the water and did not come out. Search operations are underway.

Another tragic case was recorded today in Evenkia. According to KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, a 34-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man were rafting on the Podkamennaya Tunguska River. The boat capsized, and people were trapped in the water. The woman did not come out.

Since the beginning of summer, 14 people, including five children, have drowned in the reservoirs of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

On June 10, it was reported that more than 750 people had died in the country's waters since the beginning of the year. Alexander Nesterov, Deputy Head of the Department of Regulatory Legal Support and Long-term Development of the GIMS Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, spoke about the causes of deaths at a press conference in the Izvestia News Center.
