In the Trans-Baikal Territory, the ban on visiting forests was extended until July 10. This is reported by the regional Ministry of Nature.

"In the period from June 20 to July 10, 2025 inclusive, the stay of citizens in forests is limited. Visits are limited within the boundaries of 26 forest districts. Vehicles are also restricted from entering them," the report says.

However, as the ChitaMedia news agency clarifies, there are exceptions in the Chita forestry. The ban does not apply to the forest opposite the Severny microdistrict, the forest from the Kashtak ring along the bypass to the intersection with Verkholenskaya Street, the territory of the Vysokogorye ski complex, as well as the Sukhotino area, where the sign "Recreation place" is located.

A special fire protection regime continues to operate throughout the Trans-Baikal Territory, as well as the federal emergency regime in forests.

On June 16, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation reported the localization of most of the wildfires in the Trans-Baikal Territory and Buryatia.
