Lokomotiv announced the transfer of football player Bakayev

Midfielder Zelimkhan Bakaev became a player of the Moscow football club Lokomotiv. This was announced on the club's official website on June 19.

"The duration of the contract with the player is two years," the publication says.

It is specified that Bakayev will play as a member of Lokomotiv under the 7th number.

Bakayev was born on July 1, 1996 in Nazran, Ingushetia. He is a graduate of Spartak Moscow, for which he made his debut in the 2015 Russian Cup match. He played 105 games for the Redskins, scored 14 goals, made 29 assists and won the Cup and the National Super Cup.

Bakayev became a part of Zenit on June 15, 2022. In the fall of 2023, on loan, he played for the Al-Wahda club from the UAE, after which the player played for Khimki. Together with Zenit, he managed to become a two-time champion of Russia, won the Cup and two Super Cups of the country.

Earlier, on June 5, it was reported that two-time Russian football champion, midfielder Zelimkhan Bakayev left FC Zenit from St. Petersburg. The football club thanked the player for his work and wished him good luck in his future career.
