Health & Nutrition (H&N) has agreed with the government of the Kurgan Region to implement a comprehensive modernization project for the Shadrinsky dairy plant. The agreement on the sidelines of SPIEF 2025 was signed by H&N CEO Yakub Zakriev and Governor Vadim Shumkov.

"We are pleased to have the opportunity to announce at the forum that, for the first time in many years, a comprehensive reconstruction project will be implemented at the plant," Zakriev said.

Planned investments will amount to 3.75 billion rubles by 2028, including 550 million rubles in 2025. The project includes the replacement of equipment, the launch of a yogurt production line, automation of processes and the construction of a new boiler house, Zakriev said. He added that the Shadrinsk plant is one of the leading and steadily developing industries in the Urals.

The Governor of the Kurgan region emphasized the interest of local authorities in the development of dairy farming. He said that starting next year, up to 1 billion rubles will be additionally allocated from the regional budget for these purposes.

"This measure is designed to ensure year—round employment in rural areas and increase milk production," Shumkov said.

The Shadrinsky Dairy Plant is one of the largest enterprises in the region, capable of processing up to 400 tons of milk per day.
