The nuclear issue is a reason for US intervention in the conflict between Israel and Iran. This was announced on June 19 during a round table of the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC) on the topic "The Iran-Israel conflict: the current situation and possible dynamics" at the Izvestia News Center by Andrei Kortunov, a member of the RSDM.
Israel struck Iran on June 13 and declared a state of emergency. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stressed that the purpose of the military operation is to strike at Iran's nuclear infrastructure. In response, Iran launched several waves of missile attacks.
