- Peskov pointed to the unwillingness of the United States to put up with Kiev's rudeness.
The current US administration is not going to put up with the rudeness of the Kiev regime. This was announced on June 19 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov in the Izvestia studio at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2025).
"Rudeness is generally such a permanent characteristic of the Kiev regime. It's just that now the administration has arrived, which is not ready to tolerate this rudeness," he said.
According to Peskov, now the United States administration is quite categorical and straightforward about its judgments, and this causes quite severe discomfort to the Ukrainian authorities.
The New York Times (NYT) reported on May 27 that NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte fears that the alliance's summit in June could be in danger of disruption due to the conflict between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky. According to the NYT, the American leader does not support Zelensky.
