The Lada Azimut trademark is registered by Rospatent. AVTOVAZ has all the necessary documents confirming the right to use this name for the new model. The press service of the brand reported this to Izvestia on June 19.

"AvtoVAZ has all the necessary official conclusions and confirmations that the company has every right to use this name for a new car," the automaker's press service stressed.

Earlier that day, reports began to spread in Telegram channels that allegedly Rospatent refused to register the Azimut trademark.
