Average prices for car spare parts increased by 1.9%, the press service of the Russian Union of Motor Insurers (RSA) reported on June 19. Their cost has changed since March last year, when the organization released the previous version of the spare parts directory, which is used in calculating CTP repairs.

Among spare parts for foreign cars, parts for Citroen (+13.8%) and Peugeot (+12.9%) rose the most. Moderate growth was recorded for a number of the most popular brands, for example, for spare parts for Nissan (+4.3%) and Hyundai (+3.9%), while a decrease was noted for some brands: Ford (-3%) and Volvo (-3.5%). There continues to be a noticeable decrease in average prices for spare parts for Chinese car brands: Omoda (-2.8%), Chery (-4%) and Geely (-8.5%).

For a number of popular car brands, suppliers continue to increase the supply of non-original spare parts. These parts are of high enough quality to be used for repairs, which is provided for by the legislation on CTP, the RSA said.

As explained by RSA President Evgeny Ufimtsev, the market continues to stabilize, although fluctuations in prices for car parts of different brands vary markedly. Price changes in the directories are influenced by supply logistics and currency fluctuations, which depend on economic and political factors.

On March 19, the RSA announced that compared to December 2024, the average prices for spare parts in reference books increased by 1.2%.
