T-Bank and AvtoVAZ to launch projects to promote the automotive industry

T-Bank and AvtoVAZ will launch joint projects to promote the domestic automotive industry, as well as the introduction of AI technologies in the automotive sector. The companies signed a memorandum of strategic partnership at the site of the T-Dvor festival, held in St. Petersburg during the SPIEF period.

The partnership also involves the development of a remote car sales channel. Any car from the carmaker's range can be purchased online with home delivery. All related issues, including the registration of a car loan or insurance, records for maintenance and tire service, are also solved remotely.

"The memorandum provides for the exchange of data on user requests, preferences, and inventory. This, in turn, will help companies improve the logistics chain and increase the efficiency of automotive production," T-Bank noted.

The cooperation is also aimed at combining efforts to introduce AI technologies into the automotive business. The parties agreed on the joint development of telematics, and car buyers at T-Avto will also have access to an estimate of the cost of annual car maintenance for effective cost planning.

Denis Musienko, Director of Auto Segment Development at T-Bank, CEO of T-Avto, noted that there is now a "growing demand for online car purchases." In the first five months of this year, 30% more cars were sold through T-Auto than in the whole of last year. "I am confident that our cooperation will ultimately be able to benefit not only the end user, but the entire market," Musienko added.

According to Dmitry Kostromin, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at AvtoVAZ, the strategic partnership with T-Bank is a new stage in Lada's digital transformation. "Together, we are creating an ecosystem where buying a domestic car becomes a truly technological and customer-oriented process, from an online configurator to turnkey delivery," he stressed.
