The head of the US National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, was not allowed to discuss the issue of the Iran-Israel conflict within the administration of the American leader Donald Trump. This was reported on June 19 by the NBC television channel, citing sources.

"Several senior administration officials have stated that Gabbard has been sidelined from the [U.S.] administration's internal discussions about the conflict between Israel and Iran," the material says.

Two unnamed allies of the head of the American National Intelligence admitted that her reputation suffered after the publication on June 10 of a video following a trip to Hiroshima. It is specified that the footage depicted an imitation of the destruction of US cities. According to officials, the White House administration was also annoyed by Gabbard's warning about the dangers of nuclear war.

In addition, NBC noted Gabbard's politically dangerous position, according to which the US intelligence community does not believe in Iran's creation of nuclear weapons. It is noted that this position contradicts the statements of the American leader Donald Trump about the potential threat posed by Iran's nuclear program.

The Washington Post (WP) reported on June 18 that the possible entry of the United States into an armed conflict with Iran could lead to a split in Trump's entourage. According to an unnamed official, supporters of the American president "are growing disillusioned with Israel." At the same time, it is clarified that some are afraid to openly say this because they may be accused of anti-Semitism.
