Peskov warned about the escalation of the conflict between Iran and Israel due to US intervention

The US intervention in the confrontation between Iran and Israel will cause an expansion of the geography of the conflict and lead to a new dangerous escalation. This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

According to him, Moscow is closely monitoring what is happening.

"This (US intervention. — Ed.) the expansion of the geography of the conflict. We hear statements coming from Tehran. That is, it will be another terrible round of escalation," Peskov stressed, answering a question from TASS.

In the near future, Washington will decide whether to participate in attacks on the Islamic Republic.

A day earlier, US President Donald Trump indicated the possibility of a US strike on Iran's nuclear facilities. He added that many more negative events could occur during the conflict.
