Krasnov proposed to create a group to support business between Russia and Turkey
Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov, during a meeting with his Turkish counterpart Muhsin Shentyurk on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2025), proposed the creation of a working group to consider appeals from entrepreneurs of the two countries.
According to Krasnov, cooperation between Russia and Turkey is steadily developing in line with strategic dialogue and good neighborliness. He stressed the need to make the interaction between the two departments more planned.
"I propose to create an interdepartmental working group under the auspices of the Prosecutor General's offices to consider appeals from Russian and Turkish entrepreneurs to overcome the problems they have," said the head of the Russian Prosecutor General's Office.
Russian Ambassador to Turkey Alexei Yerkhov said on June 3 that Russia and Turkey are building relations based on the desire to understand each other and mutual consideration of interests. According to him, the two countries, despite the danger of foreign intervention, "reached out to each other to build friendly relations from scratch."
