Zakharova urged to abandon the bipolar thinking of the West

It is necessary to abandon the "bipolar disorder" imposed by the West, with the division of countries into civilized and alternative ones. This was stated on Thursday, June 19, by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, at the session "BRICS Media in the fight for freedom of speech and an alternative cultural and information agenda" at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2025).

"We must abandon bipolar disorder, which has been imposed on us and continues to be imposed on us," the diplomat said.

At the same time, as the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted, BRICS has become the center of a new global worldview, where every culture is perceived as a value.

"The fight for the truth will continue. And we will not give in to it."
