- A prisoner of the Armed Forces of Ukraine spoke about mobilization with a diagnosis of epilepsy

Prisoner of war of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Vadim Chernets said on June 19 that employees of the territorial recruitment center (TCC, the equivalent of the military enlistment office in the country) sent him to the front with a diagnosis of epilepsy after evading mobilization.
According to the Ukrainian militant, many conscripts stayed at home to avoid conscription, and also sent their wives to the shops for groceries and necessary things. At the same time, Chernets was caught when he went to the store to buy cigarettes, after which he was forced to undergo a medical examination.
"There, the commission ran — once-once- got clothes, sent me to a tent and sent me to undergo basic military training. My illness can happen three or four times a day, my head hurts a lot," Chernets shared.
The prisoner clarified that no one paid attention to his state of health, and soon he was sent to the 155th mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He added that the training was ineffective. According to Chernets, many mobilized and even already trained soldiers of the Ukrainian army are fleeing from their units en masse. According to him, more than 1,700 people escaped from his brigade alone.
In addition, the Ukrainian military drew attention to the fact that the command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine did not help the brigade in any way, and also gave questionable instructions in dangerous positions.
"We were taken to our positions. The command said that there will be a house on the right side, run there and settle down there <... >. And tell us what you see there. <... > I was driving to my death. Stupidly to death. The command just threw it," he concluded.
On June 12, Alexander Kokokha, a captured militant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, spoke about the actions of the TCC, which sends people to a war zone without their consent. According to Kokoha, he spent two days on the front line before being captured by Russian soldiers of the North group of forces. In addition, he noted that the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are much higher than reported in Ukraine.
