Moscow authorities will build two more clusters with a total area of over 100 thousand square meters on the territory of the Moscow State University's Vorobyovy Gory Research Center. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced the start of the selection of new residents.

"We continue to form a world—class innovative infrastructure in the capital," Sobyanin wrote on his Telegram channel.

He stressed that companies engaged in high-tech projects in priority areas for the country can apply for placement. Preference will be given to teams that actively invest in R&D and work closely with universities.

Future residents will receive tax benefits, access to the scientific research and educational base of Lomonosov Moscow State University, as well as a special legal regime.

The Vorobyovy Gory Innovative Scientific and Technological Center of Moscow State University is being created on behalf of the President of Russia. The Lomonosov flagship cluster opened in 2023. It employs 76 technology companies.

Earlier, Sobyanin said that it is planned to place nine clusters with a total area of 479 thousand square meters on the territory of the innovative scientific and technological center.
