Israel attacked the area of a heavy-water reactor in Iran

The area around a large Iranian nuclear facility, the heavy water production plant in Arak (Khondab), was hit by an Israeli airstrike. This was reported on June 19 by Nour News in the Telegram channel.

According to them, two shells were fired at the Martyrs of Khondab nuclear facility. The remaining missiles were intercepted by air defense systems. An hour before the impact, the staff was evacuated. It is also reported that there is no threat of radiation contamination.

The scale of possible damage is still being clarified.
