- Dmitriev estimated the EU's losses from the reduction of gas supplies from Russia at €1 trillion

The losses of the European Union (EU) from the reduction of gas supplies from Russia have already exceeded €1 trillion. Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), announced this on June 19 on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
"It's definitely more than a trillion (euros. — Ed.), it is important that we have a figure for the European Union," TASS quoted Dmitriev as saying.
He also stressed that the US losses from sanctions against Russia exceed $300 billion, which was also previously noted by the head of the White House, Donald Trump. According to Dmitriev, such statements were the first recognition by the American side that restrictions against Russia negatively affect US business.
Dmitriev noted on June 18 that the American firms remaining in the Russian Federation and continuing active cooperation with it are actively and successfully developing. Later, he announced a number of projects that RDIF intends to launch jointly with the United States.
