Stormtroopers killed more than 20 Ukrainian militants in the DPR

Assault groups of the 299th airborne regiment of the Ivanovo Guards Airborne Unit occupied a stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) during one of the battles in the Chasova Yar area in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), destroying more than 20 Ukrainian militants. This was announced on June 19 by the Russian Defense Ministry.
During one of the battles near this settlement, assault groups of Yaroslavl paratroopers, under the continuous influence of enemy FPV drones and enemy artillery fire, came close to the defensive positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, after which they threw hand fragmentation grenades at the dugouts and communication passages in which the Ukrainian militants were hiding, urging them to lay down their weapons and surrender.
After receiving no response, the "winged infantry" soldiers used grenades and small arms fire to clear all the underground communications of the stronghold in which the Ukrainian militants were hiding, destroying a machine-gun crew and more than 20 military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Ukrainian militants who resisted were also eliminated.
"The tactics of combat are changing now, if earlier there were fewer FPV drones and so on, we were looking for loopholes, routes, we could guess over time and catch them off guard, now there are a lot of birds. <...> We have more FPV drones, they have become more powerful, and this helps us a lot," said the shooter of the assault group with the call sign Sultan.
On June 18, the Ministry of Defense reported that Russian military personnel had struck an aerial bomb at the temporary deployment point of the Ukrainian Armed Forces unit in the Zaporizhia region. It was clarified that the strike was carried out using an RBK-500 aviation cluster bomb with a universal planning and correction module (UMPC).
