The head of the Moscow Diplomatic Mission, Garbuzov, spoke about strengthening information security

The Moscow authorities will provide the capital's enterprises with modern domestic technologies and solutions in the field of information security. Such cooperation is provided for in the agreement, which was signed during the XXVIII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) by Anatoly Garbuzov, Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Moscow Investment and Industrial Policy Department, and Igor Lyapunov, CEO of Solar Group, Vice President for Information Security at Rostelecom.

As Anatoly Garbuzov noted, the topic of information security in the industrial sector "is especially relevant in the context of the growing digitalization of production and the increase in the amount of data processed by enterprises every day." "The city's initiative will allow industrialists based on the capital's Technology Bank service to enhance their information security competencies and ensure reliable protection of corporate resources, technological processes, confidential data and personal information from cyber threats," he said.

The agreement provides for joint work on informing about modern domestic technologies and solutions in the field of information security and improving the efficiency of production processes. In addition, thematic events are planned to develop the theoretical and practical skills of employees.

Last year, nine information security solutions of Solar Group for the capital's business and the public sector were included in the Bank of Technologies. These include a DLP platform, a next-generation firewall, and an Internet access control solution. The Russian application code analyzer is represented in the secure development segment.

As Igor Lyapunov noted, "Moscow is home to the largest and most significant companies, federal agencies and management centers of critical information infrastructure facilities, which daily reflect the most powerful stream of cyber attacks in Russia." The company's information security products make it possible to "provide turnkey protection for corporations, small and medium-sized businesses," he added.
