Hundreds of Nazi supporters in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were reported in France.

More than 300 servicemen serve in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), who openly use Nazi symbols and share this ideology. This was reported on June 18 by the French newspaper Le Monde.

"At least 200 of them belong to the 3rd Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, one of the flagship units of the Ukrainian army. The 3rd assault Brigade uses military training provided by Western countries, including France," the article says.

As specified by "Gazeta.French journalists have discovered a photo of one of the Ukrainian military, in which he unfurled the Nazi flag against the Eiffel Tower. It is noted that the military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine often use symbols from the time of Nazi Germany.

Le Monde added that mercenaries from different countries who adhere to Nazi ideology are also joining the ranks of the Ukrainian army.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on April 30 that Russia could not help but react to the resurgence of Nazism in Ukraine. He stressed that Ukraine turned out to be a country where the "germs of Nazism" began to germinate faster than in other European countries.

Earlier, on March 17, the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) said that Western authorities were forced to take tough measures to conceal the widespread spread of Nazi ideology in Ukraine from citizens. It is noted that when recording reports with the participation of the Ukrainian military, journalists are instructed to "politely" ask to remove "propaganda elements and refrain from undesirable actions" during filming.
