The SPIEF noted the results of support for domestic technology projects

Russia has created a special support system for technology projects based on the principle of "from idea to implementation", and it has already brought notable results. This was announced on June 18 by Katerina Tikhonova, Director of Innopraktika, speaking at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).

"The volume of orders transferred from abroad and already placed at Russian enterprises amounted to more than 102 billion rubles. Today, according to the Central Research Institute, 44 major corporations are participating in the program as customers, 80 projects worth more than 12 billion rubles have already been supported," she said during a speech at the session "Scenarios of technological repatriation. The role and place of foreign companies in the Russian market".

The forum participants also noted that it is precisely such projects that bring Russia's technological leadership closer.

Earlier in the day, Boris Titov, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Relations with International organizations for achieving Sustainable Development Goals, spoke at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum about the possibilities of new technologies to transform the market economy. According to him, new developments will help to change the economic model, introduce more elements for forecasting and planning.
