A Toyota driver in Balashikha knocked down a teenage cyclist at a crossing


A minor was injured in an accident in the Balashikha city district. This was reported in the press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Moscow region on Wednesday, June 18.
"Today, at about 16:08, near one of the houses located on Lugovaya Street in the Zheleznodorozhny microdistrict, a female driver born in 1964, driving a Toyota car, hit a 13–year-old teenager who was cycling along an unregulated pedestrian crossing," the department told the Moscow City News agency.
The press service added that the victim was taken to a medical facility.
Employees of the Moscow region department of the State Traffic Inspectorate are establishing the circumstances of the accident.
