Trump issued a "final ultimatum" to Iran

US President Donald Trump delivered an ultimatum to Iran at a press conference. The video of the American leader's address to journalists was published on June 18 on the Fox News YouTube channel.

According to Trump, the United States admits the possibility of attacking Iran's military and nuclear facilities if the Islamic Republic does not agree to unconditional surrender.

"You can even say: [this is] the last ultimatum," the American leader stressed.

In the near future, Washington will decide whether to participate in attacks on the Islamic Republic.

Earlier in the day, Konstantin Blokhin, a political scientist and researcher at the Center for Security Studies at the Russian Academy of Sciences, expressed the opinion that the United States is highly likely to enter into an Iranian-Israeli conflict, seeking a change in the political regime in Iran. According to him, Trump's views almost completely coincide with the position of the Israeli leadership.
