The head of Roskachestvo spoke about the achievements in the department's work over the past 10 years

One of the main achievements of Roskachestvo over the 10 years of its activity is that Russians have begun to pay attention to the quality of the goods they buy. This was announced on June 18 by the head of the department, Maxim Protasov, in the Izvestia studio at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2025).

According to him, the system has tested more than 12,000 enterprises and helped to change the situation in the commodity market. The organization also instilled in the citizens of the country a culture of smart consumption.

"Our audience of social networks, who constantly send us requests, show that people have changed. People pay attention to what they buy, purchase for themselves, and bring home to their children. They understand and understand better what to look for when purchasing certain goods. Our society has changed in ten years. Indeed, our society has become a society of smart consumption in many ways," Protasov shared.

The head of Roskachestvo noted that manufacturers also began to take a more conscious approach to their products. Now they are trying to implement the best quality standards and constantly work on quality characteristics.

Roskachestvo is a national quality monitoring system in the Russian Federation. The organization was founded on April 30, 2015. Its main goal is to promote domestically produced goods and increase confidence in them.

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is taking place on June 18-21 at the Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Center. The main theme of SPIEF in 2025 is "Shared values — the basis for growth in a multipolar world."

Earlier in the day, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the SPIEF is becoming more important for Russia and its foreign partners.
