The Moscow government signed an agreement at SPIEF that will allow the implementation of a platform for placing orders for the management of construction, demolition and soil waste (OSSiG) in the capital. This was announced by Vladimir Yefimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Planning and Construction.

The agreement was concluded between the Government of Moscow and LLC "Big Three". It will contribute to the introduction in the capital of a specialized platform based on AIS OSSiG for placing orders and selecting contractors for the transportation and disposal of construction waste. It is expected that the new platform will take into account the specifics and requirements established in the industry, as well as allow concluding contracts in the field of construction waste management and making mutual settlements.

Today, the OSSiG industry is one of the actively developing and innovative areas, and digitalization is an important factor ensuring its growth, increasing transparency and efficiency, Efimov stressed.

"This is a contribution not only to the development of the industry, but also to the ecology of the city. Digitalization has already shown results: since the introduction of the automated information system, more than 130 million tons of construction waste have been moved under digital control," Yefimov said. The signed agreement will strengthen the implementation of automation, transfer of useful practices for creating information resources and services, as well as data aggregation in the field of OSSiG management, the Deputy Mayor of Moscow is confident.

According to Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Moscow Urban Planning Policy Department, the signing of the agreement will be an important step in the development of the construction waste management system in the capital. He stressed that digital control over the transportation of construction waste forms disciplined principles of interaction between industry participants, promotes the development of the secondary resources market and reduces the number of environmental violations.
