The sinking of the right tunnel of the Biryulevskaya line of the Moscow metro has started

Between the stations "Island of Dreams" and "Klenovy Boulevard" of the Biryulevskaya line of the Moscow metro, the tunneling of the right tunnel has started. This was announced by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

According to him, the construction of the left tunnel will begin in the coming months. The construction of both is expected to be completed next spring.

Sobyanin noted that the Biryulevskaya line will be launched in stages. In 2028, work is planned to be completed on the ZIL— Kuryanovo section, and in 2030 on the Kuryanovo — Biryulyovo section.

A total of 10 stations will be built, the first three are already being built — ZIL, Island of Dreams and Klenovy Boulevard. The length of the line will be 22 km.
