Bank ROSSIYA and KIR of the Smolensk Region have signed a cooperation agreement at the SPIEF

Bank ROSSIYA and the Smolensk Region Investment Development Corporation have signed a cooperation agreement within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2025). On Wednesday, June 18, the document was signed by Alexander Shalenkov, Deputy Chairman of the bank's Management Board, and Alexander Kazakov, CEO of the corporation.

The agreement provides for the development of cooperation in the implementation of joint projects, including those involving private investors, as well as Corporate projects within the framework of public-private partnership (PPP) in the Smolensk region.

Shalenko noted that Bank ROSSIYA has extensive experience and necessary expertise in the field of PPP, which will help share knowledge and provide support to Russian regions.

"Our cooperation with the Smolensk Region Investment Development Corporation has been going on for several years, and has already allowed us to attract financing for large enterprises in the region in the agricultural sector, the food industry, and high-tech industries. The signed agreement will contribute to the growth of the regional economy and will serve as an impetus for the Bank's participation in new infrastructure and investment projects," commented Shalenkov.

Kazakov clarified that the signing of the agreement highlights the systematic work that has already been carried out by the corporation and Bank ROSSIYA for more than three years.

"I would like to note the professional approach at the stage of attracting investments to the territory of the region, an individual approach to solving the problems of each investor, and a focus on results. We highly appreciate the established partnership with the Bank and are preparing for new joint projects," Kazakov said.

Also, on the first day of June 18, SPIEF Bank ROSSIYA and the Association for the Development of Renewable Energy (ARVE) signed a cooperation agreement.
