US President Donald Trump said he had held telephone talks with Russian leader Vladimir Putin a day earlier. He told reporters about this on June 18 at an event near the White House.
"I talked to him [Putin] yesterday. He offered mediation [on the issue of Iran and Israel]," Trump said in a broadcast broadcast on the YouTube channel of the Fox television channel.
