Starting from July, the trolleybus route No. 5 will change in Sevastopol.

Starting from July 1, the route of trolleybus No. 5 "Ul. Tokareva is the Central ring of the city." This decision was made based on appeals from local residents, the press service of the city government reports.

Public discussions were held on social networks. Almost 900 people took part in them, the vast majority were in favor of changes.

Trolleybus No. 5 will now run along Gogol Street in both directions. New timetables and work schedules for drivers are currently being developed, taking into account the changes.

Also, starting from July 1, bus No. 5 will return to the previous traffic pattern, and free transfers along the route links of trolleybuses No. 5 and No. 10, as well as bus No. 5 and trolleybus No. 10 will be canceled. The free transfer between bus No. 5 and trolleybus No. 5 will remain.

As noted by IA SevastopolMedia, public transport routes have changed due to the repair of retaining walls on Admiral Oktyabrsky Street.

Earlier it was reported that a third patriotic mural will soon appear in Sevastopol. The previous two were placed at city schools No. 4 and No. 13.
