The media reported an attempt to detain former Slovak Defense Minister Nadia

In Slovakia, police tried to detain former Defense Minister Yaroslav Nagy, who is overseeing the transfer of military equipment to Ukraine. This was announced on June 18 by the publication Dennik N.
It is specified that when law enforcement agencies came to the ex-minister's home, he was not there. He is currently vacationing in Canada.
"It is not yet clear what the police action concerns, however, in all likelihood, the transfer of ammunition to Ukraine," the publication says.
At the same time, law enforcement officers managed to detain the ex-head of the state-owned Konštrukta Defense company, which specializes in the production of defense products, added "Газета.Ru ".
Earlier, on May 3, Deputy Speaker of Parliament Tibor Gaspar said that Slovakia does not plan to participate in the supply of weapons to Ukraine, as well as in sending military personnel.
Bratislava provided military support to Ukraine under the previous government, which included Nagy. So, on December 6, 2023, it was reported that Bratislava had transferred €671 million worth of military aid to Kiev. In particular, it sent a squadron of MiG-29 fighters withdrawn from the country's Air Force, the S-300 air defense system, as well as eight Zuzana-2 self-propelled howitzers, which are a product of the Slovak military-industrial complex (MIC).
