316 road accidents have occurred in Russia over the past 24 hours.

According to the operational data of the State Traffic Inspectorate, 316 traffic accidents occurred on Russian roads over the past day on June 17, in which 28 people were killed and 352 injured. 27 of the dead were passengers and drivers.
13 accidents involving buses were recorded, in which there were no fatalities, but 15 road users, including one child, needed medical attention. Ten bus accidents were caused by traffic violations committed by their drivers.
As a result of 79 accidents, 22 of which occurred at pedestrian crossings and 57 outside their area of operation, one pedestrian was killed, and 79 more were injured in various degrees of severity. Among the injured were 21 pedestrian children, 17 of whom were injured when crossing the roadway outside the designated areas.
62 accidents involving minors were registered on Russian roads over the past day, in which 66 children and teenagers were injured, including 17 passengers, 5 cyclists and 15 motor transport drivers. One teenage motorcyclist was killed.
So, late in the evening in one of the villages of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a 15-year-old schoolboy, unable to control his father's motorcycle, which he took without permission, drove off the road and crashed into a lighting pole. The young motorcyclist died.
Previously, the accident occurred due to the discrepancy between the speed and specific traffic conditions, as well as the lack of driving skills of the deceased teenager. He was not issued a driver's license, and he rode a motorcycle without a helmet or protective gear.
The State Traffic Inspectorate once again called on parents to strictly monitor and stop attempts by children and teenagers to get behind the wheel on their own, as well as to exclude for them the possibility of accessing the keys of cars, mopeds and motorcycles.
"Remember that the lack of control over the behavior and leisure of children, especially in the evening, often leads to injuries or deaths of young road users. In addition, we draw the attention of parents to the administrative responsibility for allowing children who do not have a driver's license of the appropriate category to drive motor vehicles.", —
Police Colonel Sergey Hrantskevich, head of the Department for the promotion of road safety and prevention of child traffic injuries of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, said.
On June 16, it was reported that the number of people killed in road accidents in Russia has decreased with an increase in the number of accidents.
