An unusual option of the new Lada Azimut crossover has been revealed

One of the main and unusual features of the new Lada Azimut crossover is the electric heating of the front side windows. Sergey Kornienko, AvtoVAZ's head of product marketing, told Izvestia on June 18.

"The car is equipped with a panoramic opening roof, genuine leather is used in the interior, the exterior can be made in a two-tone version. However, the most interesting and unusual feature of Azimut is the electric heating of the windows in the front doors," Kornienko shared on the sidelines of the SPIEF.

The specialist also said that the length of the Lada crossover exceeds 4,400 mm, and the wheelbase is 2,675 mm. Thus, the car is comparable to the Chinese Haval Jolion, Chery Tiggo 4 and Geely Coolray or the Belarusian Belgee X50. Such dimensions allow the novelty “to be a spacious, family-friendly, versatile car,” stressed the representative of AvtoVAZ.

AvtoVAZ presented the Lada Azimut crossover on June 18 at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF). The start of serial production of Azimut is scheduled for 2026.
