The farewell to People's Artist of Russia Natalia Tenyakova will take place in Moscow on Friday, June 20. This was announced on June 18 by the press service of the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater.

"At 11:00, a civil memorial service will begin at the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater (Kamergersky Lane, 3). Then a farewell ceremony will take place in the funeral hall of the Central Clinical Hospital No. 1 (Marshal Timoshenko St., 25). Natalia Maksimovna's ashes will be laid to rest at the Troekurovsky cemetery next to [actor] Sergei Yursky," the theater's Telegram channel says.

For almost 40 years in the Art Theater, Tenyakova has played many different roles — from Ranevskaya in The Cherry Orchard, Madeleine Bejar in The Cabal of Saints, Gurmyzhskaya in The Forest to modern heroines.
