A child who fell on a walk in a Lipetsk kindergarten was awarded 350 thousand rubles.

The Lipetsk Regional Court confirmed the legality of the decision of a lower court to recover compensation for moral damage from a kindergarten in favor of a child injured on a walk. The parents of the victim should receive 350 thousand rubles.

According to GOROD48, with reference to the joint press service of the judicial system of the Lipetsk region, a child fell while walking in kindergarten and suffered a fracture of the lower jaw.

The parents demanded to recover 1 million rubles from the institution as compensation for moral damage and 35 thousand rubles as compensation for material damage. This is due to the fact that the boy had to undergo surgery, and it took a long time to recover from the operation. At the same time, the child experienced pain and moral suffering.

The kindergarten administration acknowledged the claim in terms of compensation for material damage, but did not agree with the amount of moral damage and asked to reduce it to 100 thousand rubles. As a result, the kindergarten must pay 350 thousand rubles to the injured party.

Earlier, a court in Birobidzhan ruled in favor of a girl who was injured in kindergarten. The administration of the institution was ordered to pay the relatives of the victim 50 thousand rubles. A girl born in 2021, while in the junior kindergarten group, was left unattended, fell and was injured.
