As part of SPIEF 2025, the Moscow Department of Investment and Industrial Policy signed a cooperation agreement with the University of Future Technologies in the development of high-tech industries. This was announced by the Minister of the Moscow government, head of the department Anatoly Garbuzov.
"On behalf of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the city is developing the capital's human resources potential and strengthening the prestige of engineering professions among students," Garbuzov said.
He noted that students from more than 30 leading Moscow universities and colleges can take internships in industries in the fields of microelectronics, pharmaceuticals, machine tool manufacturing, and the creation of unmanned aircraft systems. According to Garbuzov, the agreement "will accelerate the development of this area and attract more talented personnel to high-tech industries."
The purpose of the agreement is to develop high-tech industries in Moscow and the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone. The Moscow SEZ has already concluded agreements with leading Moscow educational institutions — Moscow Polytechnic University, STANKIN, MAI, MIPT, NIU MIET, Bauman Moscow State Technical University. Since 2022, over 1.5 thousand people have completed internships at SEZ sites.
