- The IAEA reported the destruction of buildings for the creation of centrifuge elements in Iran

In Iran, two facilities were destroyed in Karaj, where components of centrifuges enriching uranium were produced. On June 18, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) announced this on the social network X (formerly. Twitter).
"The IAEA has information that two facilities for the production of centrifuges in Iran, the TESA Karaj workshop and the Tehran Research Center, have been attacked," the publication says.
It is specified that these buildings were previously under the supervision of the IAEA as part of the joint Comprehensive Plan of action.
Earlier, on June 16, the head of the IAEA, Rafael Grossi, reported that four buildings at the nuclear facility in Isfahan, Iran, were damaged as a result of an Israeli strike. According to him, no damage was recorded at other similar enterprises, including a fuel enrichment plant in Fordo, a heavy water reactor under construction in Khondaba and a nuclear power plant in Bushehr. At the same time, the Tehran research Reactor was not damaged.
