The head of the NSPK spoke about simplifying the lives of Russians thanks to technology in finance

The use of high technologies in the field of finance and payment services makes life easier for Russian citizens. Dmitry Dubynin, Director General of the National Payment Card System (NSPK), told Izvestia on June 18 on the sidelines of SPIEF 2025.

According to Dubynin, last year the NSPK developed a payment service, universal QR and geometric acquiring. At the same time, this year the direction of financial technologies (fintech) was chosen, which combines the creation of new and optimization of existing financial instruments using computer technology.

"Our chosen direction, fintech, is very important to us, because fintech allows us not only to provide people with innovative payment methods, but also to increase financial accessibility," Dubynin believes.

The head of the NSPK also pointed out the need for everyone to have the same opportunities for access to technology, as well as the use of such high-tech services that make life easier for Russians.

Moscow became the first to offer such services, but did not even enter the top ten in terms of demand.

In March, Garik Kravtsov, CEO of Payselection, told Izvestia that expanding the functions of a single QR code from the NSPK is a logical step in developing the payment infrastructure, given the trend towards digitalization of payments.
