50 objects have been added to the unified register of Moscow's cultural heritage


50 architectural monuments have been added to the Unified Register of Moscow's Cultural Heritage sites. Among them are the Hermitage Theater building, the apartment buildings of A.V. Krasnogorova-Blinov, Princess A.P. Golitsyna, the Kokorev courtyard and the house of architect S.M. Goncharov, the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, said in a Telegram channel.
The Unified Register of Cultural Heritage Sites in Moscow contains 3,833 historical buildings and structures. All monuments have been placed under state protection, their owners and tenants are obliged to ensure the preservation of cultural heritage sites and maintain them in accordance with the approved subject of protection, it is emphasized on mos.ru .
In total, 2,347 cultural heritage sites have been restored in the capital over the past 11 years, which is about 30% of all monuments. The share of facilities in poor condition in 2024 was 3.1%— which is 12 times less than in 2010 (39%).
In 2024, 849 historical sites were being preserved in Moscow, and restoration was completed on 157 of them. About 500 cultural heritage sites are currently being restored.
Earlier, Sobyanin announced the completion of the restoration of Peter the Great's House. The mayor noted that this is the only memorial museum in the capital dedicated to the reformer tsar. Specialists restored the historical appearance of the building, work was carried out both inside and outside the building.
