In the Kherson region, the Msta-B howitzer crew destroyed an APU ammunition depot

The gunners of the 18th Combined Arms Army from the Dnepr group of forces, having received the coordinates of the location of the field ammunition storage facility of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), struck it with a 152-mm Msta-B howitzer. This was announced on June 18 by the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Aerial reconnaissance of the unit revealed the movement of Ukrainian militants, who often brought ammunition to one of the abandoned houses on the right bank of the Dnieper. The coordinates of their location were immediately sent to the artillery control center.
"The crew of the 152-mm Msta-B cannon promptly prepared the cannon and began to carry out the combat mission. The accuracy of artillery fire in real time was confirmed by intense ignition and prolonged secondary detonation in the target area," the ministry said.
After the command post signaled that the target had been hit, the crew camouflaged the gun and took cover to prevent the personnel from being hit and the gun from being damaged by enemy counter-battery fire.
"We work every day, day and night, regardless of weather conditions — rain, snow, cold, hot… We will work it out, the enemy can work on us too. There is also danger," said the commander of the gun with the call sign Shooter.
Earlier that day, it was reported that calculations of fiber-optic FPV drones of the special forces unit of the Center group of forces identified and destroyed carefully disguised military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Krasnoarmeysk. The Russian Defense Ministry noted that the military often uses combined strikes.: First, the drones disable camouflage nets, and then hit the equipment itself.
