- A Russian fighter spoke about the Ukrainian Armed Forces' attempt to eliminate their soldiers in Alekseevka

Militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attempted to kill their colleagues in Alekseevka, Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on June 18 by Nikita Galik, a stormtrooper of the 114th separate assault brigade of the 51st Army of the Center group of forces.
"When the enemy tried to surrender, the enemy used firepower, mortars, FPV drones, and Baba Yagi in order to destroy their own personnel in order to avoid information leakage," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
According to him, the Ukrainian militants surrendered two to five people only after dropping grenades in their shelter. Subsequently, they were asked to lay down their arms. At the same time, the stormtrooper noted that attempts by the enemy side to destroy those who surrendered were unsuccessful.
Galik noted that the Russian side captured the enemy, was able to obtain information and intercepted a radio, which monitored the future plans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine — actions, their location, and other events. Thus, the servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation acted in advance.
Earlier that day, Galik shared with Izvestia that during the liberation of the settlements of Alekseevka and Zelyony Kut in the DPR, the Russian military used anti-drone ponchos. According to him, they moved out around 20:30-21:00 and put on a poncho that hid them on a thermal imager.
