The military personnel of the Dnepr group of forces used ground-based robotic off-road drones Shanghai and Frog in the area of the special military operation. This was announced on June 18 by a paratrooper officer with the call sign Min.

That is, a [robot] on a wheeled basis, for example, can even stand up somewhere over rough terrain. That is, due to these soft rubber tracks, it runs quite calmly where wheeled vehicles are already having problems. The swamps are shallow, up to half a meter, he takes it freely," said a soldier quoted by RIA Novosti.

According to him, this type of drone is used to deliver ammunition and supplies to the front line, evacuate the wounded and perform combat missions.

The fighter stressed that the Dnepr group of troops has a sufficient amount of ground-based drone data.
