Russia is among the three countries with the lowest "picnic index"

Russia was among the countries with the most affordable prices for picnic food among the world's leading economies, and it is cheaper to spend a day in nature only in Indonesia and China. This was reported on June 18 by RIA Novosti following an analysis based on open data on the cost of goods.
For the calculation, we took a standard set: half a kilogram of bread, 200 grams of cheese and ham, half a kilogram of apples, three liters of water and a blanket measuring 150× 200 cm. The average cost of such a kit in the G20 countries is $19.8 (approximately 1,553 rubles).
In Indonesia, it will cost $9.1 (about 714 rubles), in China — $12 (942 rubles), and in Russia — $ 14.8 (1,162 rubles).
Prices in five other countries were below average: South Africa $15.3 (about 1,201 rubles), India $16 (1,256 rubles), Brazil $17.7 (1,390 rubles), Mexico $18.8 (1,476 rubles) and Turkey $19 (1,492 rubles).
In the rest of the G20 economies, spending on a similar set is higher. In France, Argentina and Saudi Arabia, it costs just over $20 (1,570 rubles). In Japan, $22.7 (1,783 rubles), Australia $23.2 (1,821 rubles) and Germany $23.3 (1,829 rubles) the amounts are even higher.
The most expensive picnics were in Canada for $27.3 (about 2,143 rubles), South Korea for $26.5 (2,080 rubles) and the USA for $25.4 (1,994 rubles).
Psychologist Tatiana Smirnova told Izvestia on May 29 that a properly organized work and rest regime would help to avoid burnout in the summer. She advised spending active weekends, using lunch breaks for walks, and starting the morning with physical activity in the fresh air.
