In Primorye, a criminal case was opened against a man who killed an elderly man.

In the city of Partizansk, Primorsky Krai, a man stabbed to death a 79-year-old elderly man and threw his body into a well, a criminal case has been opened. This was reported on June 18 in the press service of the SU TFR in the region.

"In Partizansk, the circumstances of the murder of a man whose body was found in a well on Irkutsk Street in the city of Partizansk have been established <...> The investigative authorities of the Investigative Committee for the Primorsky Territory have opened a criminal case into the murder of a 79-year—old man, whose body was found in a well on Irkutsk Street in the city of Partizansk," the agency said in a Telegram message -the channel.

It is noted that a 48-year-old local resident was arrested on suspicion of committing a crime. During the investigative measures, he illustrated the mechanism of his actions at the scene.

According to law enforcement officials, the incident occurred in early June of this year. A conflict broke out between the victim and the accused, during which the suspect stabbed the elderly man several times with a knife and an axe. Then, hiding the traces of the crime, he dumped the body of the murdered man into the well.

In addition, it was possible to identify the detainee's involvement in the attack on a local resident, whom he brutally beat and robbed. Currently, forensic examinations have been ordered in the criminal case.
