Russian singer Leps was put on the wanted list in Ukraine


The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has put on the wanted list Russian singer, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Grigory Leps in connection with his support of a special military operation (SVO). This was reported on June 18 by RIA Novosti with reference to data from the Ukrainian authorities.
It is specified that in early March of this year, the SBU charged the Russian artist in absentia. The singer was accused of supporting his own military and pointed to his promise of payments to Russian servicemen for every tank destroyed by Ukrainian militants.
According to the Ukrainian authorities, Leps was put on the wanted list on March 4, 2025.
On June 9, the FSB of Russia for the LPR reported that a Ukrainian was detained in the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) for espionage in the interests of the SBU. The criminal was detained and a criminal case was opened under Article 276 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Espionage".
