Calculations of FPV drones destroyed the disguised equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Krasnoarmeysk

Calculations of fiber-optic FPV drones of the special forces unit of the Center group of forces identified and destroyed carefully disguised military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) near Krasnoarmeysk. This was announced on June 18 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

It is noted that using a jam-proof communication channel, operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) detect and hit tanks, howitzers, self-propelled artillery installations and mortars of Ukrainian militants disguised in forest belts and other natural shelters. Russian military personnel pay special attention to vehicles disguised under tree crowns or in specially equipped shelters.

Fiber-optic control channels allow drones to maintain stable communication with the operator even in conditions of dense electronic countermeasures, which ensures high attack efficiency. After detecting a target, operators carefully select the optimal angle of attack to ensure that the equipment is disabled. Combined strikes are often used: First, the drones disable camouflage nets, and then hit the equipment itself, the ministry added.

On June 17, the Ministry of Defense reported that the calculation of FPV drones of the Rubicon Advanced Unmanned Technology Testing center destroyed the Leopard 2A1 tank of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donetsk People's Republic. It was clarified that Russian intelligence officers had discovered a disguised tank of Ukrainian militants in the area of the village of Mayak.
