Canada has imposed sanctions on Putin's ex-wife and Yeltsin's daughter.

Canada has imposed sanctions against Lyudmila Ocheretnaya, the former wife of Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Tatiana Yumasheva, the daughter of the first president of the Russian Federation Boris Yeltsin. This is evidenced by a document published on June 15 on the website of the Government of Canada.
The sanctions list includes former head of Rusnano Anatoly Chubais, entrepreneur Natalia Kaspersky, former Austrian Foreign Minister Karin Kneissl, and former head coach of the Russian national rhythmic gymnastics team Irina Wiener. In total, sanctions were imposed on 77 individuals and 39 legal entities.
On June 17, CTV reported that Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, during his meeting with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, expressed his intention to impose new sanctions against the Russian Federation. According to him, they will affect over 40 organizations both in Russia and abroad.
